We've known each other almost all of our lives. We both attended Holy Family School during their middle school years, and Austin was one year older. In High School, we had mutual friends, and ran track at the same time.

After High School, Austin attended Indiana University, and Hannah attended the University of Evansville. After graduation, Austin moved back to Jasper to join his family business: Schmidt Contracting. Hannah moved to Nashville, attended Belmont for her MBA, and lived there for 3 years before moving back to join her family business: Sell4Free Welsh Realty.

Austin's Grandpa and Hannah's Grandma were High School friends, and when Hannah moved back, her Grandma suggested she go on a date with Austin. Our "first date" included Austin helping Hannah put up a "For Sale" sign at her first listing. We spent as much time as they could together from then on out and were inseparable.

Austin proposed during our vacation to Punta Gorda on Tuesday February 25th. It was the best day ever (so far).
